This policy explains what personal information Game Print collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We've tried to write it in plain English rather than legal boilerplate.
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
If you have any questions about anything here, email aussie@gameprint.net.
Game Print manufactures card games, trading card games and tabletop games. We produce through facilities in Melbourne and Auckland, and work with creators, studios and publishers across Australia and New Zealand.
Our Australian website is www.gameprint.net. We also operate gameprint.nz for our New Zealand customers.
Information you give us directly. When you fill in our contact form or use the chat window, you provide your name, email address and whatever you write in the message. If you email us or talk to us about a project, we keep that correspondence and any details you share about your game — card counts, sizes, quantities, artwork files and so on.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, which pages you looked at, how long you stayed, and which site or search you arrived from.
What we don't collect. We don't take payment details through this website. We don't ask for, and don't want, sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act — health information, government identifiers, or anything of that nature.
We use your information to:
We won't use your information for anything unrelated to these purposes without asking you first.
Our website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages get read, how people arrive, and where they drop off. This is aggregate reporting; we're not trying to identify individual visitors.
Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and collects usage data. That data is processed by Google, which means it's stored and handled outside Australia.
If you'd rather not be measured, you have options:
Turning off cookies won't stop you using the site or contacting us.
Our website uses Crisp to run the chat window in the corner of the page. If you start a conversation, Crisp stores the messages you send, your email address if you give us one, and basic technical details about your visit. Crisp sets a cookie on your device so the conversation is still there if you come back later.
Chat transcripts are kept for 30 days. If a conversation turns into a real project, we'll carry on by email and those records are then kept under the retention periods further down this page.
Crisp is a French company and stores this data in the European Union. If you'd rather not use the chat, the contact form and aussie@gameprint.net reach us just as well.
We may advertise Game Print using Google Ads, including remarketing — showing our ads to people who have previously visited our website.
The disclosures below are required for advertising of this kind:
You can opt out of personalised advertising:
Opting out doesn't mean you'll stop seeing ads — it means the ads you see won't be personalised based on your browsing.
We don't sell your personal information. We don't trade it or give it away for marketing.
We do share information with the service providers we need to run the business:
| Who | What for |
|---|---|
| Webflow | Hosts our website and stores contact form submissions |
| Analytics, and advertising if we're running campaigns | |
| Crisp | Runs the live chat window and stores chat transcripts |
| Our email provider | Receiving and sending correspondence |
| Our production partners | Artwork and specifications needed to manufacture your order in Melbourne or Auckland |
| Freight and courier companies | Delivery address details, so we can ship your order |
| Our accountant | Invoicing and statutory record keeping |
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it's necessary to protect someone's safety.
Australian Privacy Principle 8 requires us to tell you when your information may be disclosed to recipients outside Australia.
Some of the providers above store or process data outside Australia. In particular:
These are established providers who are contractually required to protect personal information. But once information is held overseas it may be subject to the laws of that country, and we can't control that.
If this concerns you, contact us by email instead of using the website form or the chat window.
Under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:
Email aussie@gameprint.net and we'll respond within 30 days, which is the timeframe the Act sets for access requests. We won't charge you for a reasonable request.
We use reputable hosting and email providers, keep access limited to people who need it, and don't retain information longer than we need to.
No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee against every possible breach — but if one occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we'll notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
Talk to us first — email aussie@gameprint.net and we'll try to sort it out directly. We'll acknowledge your complaint and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner:
We'll update this page when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when it last changed. If we make a significant change affecting how we use information you've already given us, we'll let you know directly.
